Short Circuit studies are vital for understanding the cause of a fault and the impact on an electrical installation and consequently clients. We review, calculate and study short circuits to ensure that relays operate optimally, while limiting the risk of unwanted power loss to critical UPS and customer IT systems.

These studies, calculated using British Standard BS EN 60909: 2016, are commonly required when undertaking designs of medium voltage networks.
